What this womb sound contains
This is a synthetic approximation of a low, muffled whoosh. It is generated sound shaped with a slow rise and fall, not a recording from inside a womb or from a particular pregnancy.
The 20-second loop contains no separate heartbeat pulse, speech or music. The word womb describes its intended texture; it does not establish what a baby remembers or promise a sleep response.
Womb sounds or a heartbeat?
This whoosh changes slowly without a distinct beat. The heartbeat player offers paired pulses in Soft, Warm and Classic versions. White noise has a brighter and more even hiss.
Start with one texture. On a small speaker the low part of the womb sound may be less apparent; do not raise the volume simply to force more bass from the device.
Does it need an app or a download?
No installation or account is needed. The audio loads from this site after you choose Play. The current player does not provide an offline package or MP3 download.
Newborn and baby versions use the same file. This is an optional background for an adult to choose, not a recording tailored to a baby or a medical monitor.
How does the session end?
Choose a duration before Play. The timer fades the final seconds and stops without a bell; Pause can stop the sound sooner. The default 15 minutes is a convenience setting, not a recommended exposure time.
Keep equipment outside the sleep space, check device volume and read the volume guide. A phone may interrupt audio in the background or with its screen locked.
