If the player says Ready or Paused
Press Play, or Resume after an interruption. Main mixer sound icons and prepared mixes also start listening; choices on focused pages stay silent until Play. Confirm that at least one selected sound has a level above zero and that Volume is above zero.
Check the device output and any Bluetooth speaker. Keep the output low; do not jump to maximum as a troubleshooting step. Scenery motion affects the background only, so its paused state does not prevent audio.
If sound is loading or a file fails
The first load fetches only the selected files. A slow connection can delay it. Pause cancels pending playback; after connectivity returns, use Play to try again.
If one sound fails while others are playing, remove the failed sound or pause and retry. A failed prepared-mix change keeps the previous playing mix when possible, and the page reports what happened. No failing file should restart after Pause.
If sound stops in the background
Phones and browsers may suspend audio after a screen lock, phone call, another media app, memory pressure or power-saving action. Return to this page and read its state before pressing Resume.
A completed timer does not restart on return. A reload, page navigation or closing the tab also stops audio. This is expected page behavior, not a guarantee of all-night playback. Desktop testing does not establish every physical phone’s behavior.
If saving or sharing fails
Private browsing, full storage or blocked local storage can prevent a saved mix. You can still use the current player. Existing unreadable records are preserved rather than overwritten.
If copying is blocked, select and copy the visible Share link field. A malformed or unsupported link reports an error and does not overwrite local mixes. A valid share link contains no volume setting and always opens paused.
