Three heartbeat sounds to compare
Soft has a rounded double beat at 60 BPM. Warm has a lower, more muffled character at 66 BPM. Classic is the original paired pulse at 72 BPM. These are the fixed rhythms of three recordings; this player does not offer a variable-rate control.
Each file is a 20-second synthetic loop with a quiet texture underneath. Switching versions replaces the current heartbeat rather than adding a second pulse. Paused changes remain silent.
Is this a real heartbeat or a fetal recording?
No. These are original synthetic sound designs. They contain no recording of a person, fetus or pregnancy and cannot monitor or diagnose anyone’s heart.
The versions describe sound character and rhythm, not sleep stages or an age-specific prescription. There is no guaranteed soothing or sleep response.
How is heartbeat different from womb sound?
Heartbeat offers a distinct paired pulse. The womb player offers a low, slowly changing whoosh without a separate heartbeat. Neither page is a medical instrument or an actual intrauterine recording.
Low frequencies can sound less apparent on a phone. Compare at a low device output rather than increasing volume to recreate the bass of a larger speaker.
Choose when the heartbeat stops
Set the duration while paused, then press Play. The timer fades and stops without a bell; Pause stops sooner. The initial 15-minute choice is an interface convenience, not a prescribed listening time.
Put the device aside outside the sleep space and check the volume and output. Phone calls, screen lock and browser suspension may interrupt audio.
