Let the activity decide when sound ends
This page offers the same simple sound choices for an older child’s bedtime activity. Choose a texture together while the player is paused. A story or conversation should remain the main activity, with sound optional.
For a short reading session, set a duration before Play. You can use Pause when the story ends rather than letting a timer decide when the child should sleep.
A quieter screen
The player uses the original dark night scene. Scenery motion pauses the moving scenery and weather effects; reduced-motion preferences are respected as well.
After choosing, put the device aside in a suitable location away from the sleep space. The scenery control affects animation only; the sound controls remain available.
When a background is not useful
A repeating shush or changing wave may be interesting rather than restful for a particular listener. Choose a continuous texture or stop it if it becomes distracting.
No preset is a promise of deeper sleep. The site does not collect sleep records, monitor a child or choose a medically appropriate sound. For ongoing sleep concerns, use individual professional advice.
